Carol J declares her love for Rihanna after her comeback: There is no one who inspires me more than you

The Colombian artist is one of the most recognizable artists on the planet today (37 million monthly listeners on Spotify), something she shares with Rihanna, who despite six years outside the industry is still very popular today.

However, the Medellin native did not forget where she came from and after RiRi returned, she wanted to leave a message of love and admiration for the woman who has always been her great inspiration.

As all Barbados singer fans know, Friday saw the release of her new song ‘Lift me up’ for the upcoming Marvel Studios movie, the song that will likely feature a music video, as seen on Rihanna’s social networks.

In a mysterious 30-second video, Rihanna appears on the beach at sunset, in gorgeous shots immersed in one from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The song now has over 1.5 million views on YouTube in just seven hours.
